The last three steps, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi lead the Yogi into the innermost parts of the soul.[1] They are the most important points of the thoughtful analysis[2] and absolutely necessary to reach the highest state of consciousness,[3] the other five steps are having comparatively minor functions.

Dharana is the concentration, the emancipation of the Ego from the eternal flow of perception, the immersion into our own depths by tying our consciousness to a certain point,[4] as this is the only way to centre the consciousness into itself and let it serve the perfection of the self instead to continue to be slave of the senses.

The Yogi does not look up to the sky to find God, but he rather knows that God is present deep inside him, in his own self, the Antaratma. That is why the two highest stages of des Yoga are called the Antaratma sadhana, the tasks of the soul.[5] The Samadhi can be considered the true Yoga, the final aim.[6]

But no matter what stage the Yogi is in, the strengthened and purified consciousness always has a positive influence on the people around him. A person improved by meditation radiates harmony, peace, satisfaction and a balance of the spirit, because it is in equilibrium with its own emotions.

So Thai-massage, that can support us in that process, is not only to be understood as a physical comfort for the body but is also affecting our whole personality deeply and helps us to live our everyday life in a much more relaxed way. This way many conflicts between people can be avoided. Humans that prospectively evade critical collisions of bodies and interests used to get not only more respect from their fellow people but they also used to live a much longer and comfortable, relaxed life.
